Samieira is a sleepy hamlet with narrow lanes, situated off the coast road between Pontevedra and O Grove, 5km from the Galician town of Combarro. It is one of the prettiest areas of the coastline and is a lovely location for relaxation.

Samieira is a delightful waterside village with a sheltered beach (playa de Samieira), local shops and restaurants. There are many more beaches in the vicinity. However for those seeking entertainment there are several night spots in Sanxenxo, O Grove and Portonovo which are just a short drive away. The village has a series of semi-restored and restored water mills, which are a very attractive sight indeed and you can enjoy wine and tapas at some of them.
