The Greek holiday resort at Sivota is home to a host of fish restaurants and tavernas that overlook the harbour. These are very popular with the visiting yachting crowds, with sailing boats and yachts lining the long quayside on the west side of Sivota bay. It is great location for relaxing with a harbour-side drink, watching the world go bye and taking in fine views along Sivota Bay, with olive groves and wooded hills behind. Sivota is also an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the island of Lefkas, however car hire is essential to do this.

It is much quieter in Sivota by day than it is at night - when the sailing set come out to play. Nightlife in Sivota is still relaxed relaxed and traditionally Greek though and it is usually centred around restaurants and bars. It is worth remembering however that the locals in Greece tend to eat late in the evening, so the bars will stay open until very late.
