Occupying an elevated position in the fishing port of Las Vueltas, this delightful, family-owned house has been divided into six comfortable apartments. A warm and friendly greeting from the owners, Humberto and Conchita, awaits your arrival, as they live in the house and have created a friendly, family atmosphere.
The ground floor apartments have a small terrace and garden, the first floor apartments a balcony and there is an attic studio with a private terrace from which there are panoramic views of Valle Gran Rey. There is also a roof terrace with sunloungers for communal use.
These apartments are ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday near to the heart of a coastal village with its typical bars, restaurants and shops, yet be tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It is an excellent base from which to explore the lush beauty of the Valle Gran Rey, or simply relax on the roof terrace and take in beautiful valley views before soaking up the atmosphere of a typical Canarian fishing village.
Please note you cannot drive your vehicle to the entrance of the building and the short access path to the apartments is very steep and followed by steps; we therefore do not recommend this property for people with walking disabilities.

Layout

1 twin bedroom, lounge/diner with American style kitchen with hob, fridge, coffee machine, kettle. Shower room. There is a sofa bed in the lounge/dining area. The bedroom has no outside window but a connecting window to the living area which is well ventilated. The apartments are on the ground floor and have a terrace and small garden.

Location

Valle Gran Rey, located in the south west of La Gomera, is one of the most impressive and beautiful ravines in the island. Here the Gomera islanders have created a unique landscape by transforming the hillsides into terraces to grow crops and tropical fruits. As you descend into the valley down the dramatic mountainside, clusters of little red-roof houses and groups of Canarian palm trees provide stunning scenery. Throughout Valle Gran Rey the atmosphere is very authentic Canarian, without the feeling you are in a package holiday resort. There are some comfortable holiday apartments with swimming pools and a modern hotel.
