This charming property is near to the town of Los Canarios (formerly known as Fuencaliente) at the foot of the Cumbre Vieja in the biggest wine growing area of the island. Los Canarios is a wealthy town with brightly painted houses with beautiful wooden balconies. The black, volcanic landscape contrasts with the vineyards surrounded by pine trees. The larger beach resorts of Puerto Naos and Los Cancajos are both around 30 minutes drive away, whilst the Caldera De Taburiente National Park is also around 35 minutes drive.
The house is approached via a track leading through vineyards and has been lovingly restored and converted from an old bodega into a comfortable holiday home. The accommodation comprises: Kitchen/living area with fridge-freezer, sink, 2-ring gas hob, breakfast bar, three seater sofa-bed, two armchairs, TV and fireplace. Bathroom with shower, WC. Bedroom with double bed. Outside is a furnished terrace affording lovely views.

Location
Los Canarios, otherwise formerly known as Fuencaliente, is located on the very southern tip of La Palma, and is an area rich in volcanic activity, with a series of unusual black beaches. It's original name name meaning 'hot spring', or 'warm fountain, Los Canarios is the site of seven volcanoes, the most recent of which being Teneguia, which erupted in 1971, and lasted 24 days. The areas surrounding Fuencaliente consist of pine forests, vineyards and banana plantations - a stark contrast to the barren ash craters of the volcanoes. 6km Beach Sand & pebbles 6km Nearest restaurant(s) Los Canarios 6km Nearest shop(s) Los Canarios 30km Airport Santa Cruz
