A perfect rural hide-away, nestled at the edge of the tiny village of El Roque. This enchanting cottage has belonged to the same family for over 150 years and has recently been lovingly restored and renovated, yet retains many original features, character and charm. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and includes every modern convenience.
As you enter the front gate and step into the walled courtyard, you instantly feel as if you have been taken back in time. The living area, bathroom and bedrooms have been separated from the kitchen and dining area by an open courtyard, where there is a small swimming pool, barbecue, garden furniture, and an old stone oven. Here you can enjoy privacy and seclusion, take a refreshing dip in the small pool or simply relax while dining al fresco.
This is a wonderful place to enjoy a restful holiday away from the areas of mass tourism. It is conveniently located close to superb golden sandy beaches at El Cotillo and has the facilities of a village just a short stroll away.

All on one level, the house has one double bedroom, a twin bedroom with a view of the sea from the window and a shower room. Across the courtyard, large kitchen with hob, microwave and fridge. Sitting room with TV and music player. Outside: Open courtyard with plenty of seating area and small pool 3m x 4m.

Location
Situated just under 2km from the fishing village of El Cotillo and its beautiful beaches and lagoons, El Roque is a relatively undiscovered, tiny village new to tourism. The village has a small supermarket, church and local restaurant.
