An enchanting collection of houses, set in the grounds of a peaceful coastal cortijo, surrounded by rolling countryside and close to fabulous golden sandy beaches, Cortijo Cernicalo is highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.
Conil de la Frontera is a little white town which spills onto a long stretch of sandy beach which continues for miles southward to the hamlet of El Palmar and northward to the fishing harbour of Roche. Conil has a good selection of restaurants, where you can sample the specialities of the region, and local markets selling fresh fruit and vegetables.
Cortijo Cernicalo is set in rolling, unspoilt countryside along a narrow, sandy track within walking distance of the beautiful beach of Fuente de Gallo. Each of the delightful houses at the cortijo has a private garden stocked with vines or trees, fragrant shrubs and flowers.
Jose, the owner, and his son Juan Manuel built these charming houses to blend in with the surrounding countryside and the properties are set within tranquil grounds with with water features, lawns and more vines, trees, fragrant shrubs and flowers. A large shared swimming pool and children's pool nestle within these beautifully tended gardens, from which you can enjoy a view of the surrounding rolling pastures.
The houses are furnished in a simple yet comfortable typically Spanish style, which is pleasant to live in. Outside there are terraces, covered porches and trees providing shade during the long hot summer - an ideal spot for dining al fresco.

Conil de la Frontera is an enchanting white fishing town that spills onto a long stretch of golden sandy beach. A thriving seaside holiday destination, Conil offers the visitor a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants yet remains largely non-commercialised. It retains a traditional Spanish atmosphere, with narrow cobblestone streets, tapas bars, an open air market at weekends and pavement cafes around the main plazas.
