Situated in the quiet, residential Taoro area of Puerto de La Cruz, the delightful Florasol offers a choice of 36 spacious and comfortable apartments, comprising of studios and one or two bedroom accommodation. The pretty, mature gardens incorporate a heated swimming pool with comfortable sun-loungers and a tennis court. Puerto de La Cruz is situated on the north coast of Tenerife and has a mild climate, lush vegetation and beautiful scenery including views of the Oratava Valley and Mount Teide. It is one of the oldest and most attractive resorts on the island with fashionable sea-front cafes, endless shopping possibilities and large lido. The airport is 100 kilometres away.
Car hire here is not essential, as all of the amenities of a compact resort are close at hand, however it should be considered as a short drive inland will give you the opportunity to explore the lush Oratava Valley or visit the Las Canadas National Park which surrounds Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain. Alternatively, you can visit the many pretty Canarian fishing villages dotted along the north coast of Tenerife. The typically Spanish town of Icod de Los Vinos is also easily accessible (about 25 kilometres away) and has a pretty centre with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. The famous dragon tree, a popular tourist attraction, is also found in the centre of Icod, as is a pretty Canarian garden, both of which can be viewed from the little tourist train which will take you around for a small charge.

Puerto de la Cruz is a colonial town full of charm and one of the oldest resorts in the Canaries, having received visitors for over 100 years. The mild climate, lush vegetation, and beautiful scenery, including views of the Orotava Valley and Mount Teide, are natural attractions. Man-made attractions include the famous Botanical Gardens, the Loro Parque zoological gardens, the fabulous Lido, Golf La Rosaleda golf club and the Casino. Pretty squares, churches, street cafes and fascinating shops can be found in the old part of town.
