Set within gardens extending to 20,000 square metres, the Cordial Playa Hotel offers a range of leisure and sporting activities including two large swimming pools, gymnasium, tennis and Jacuzzi.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the delightful marina village of Puerto de Mogan and is only a short walk from the local golden sandy beach and 7km from the golf course.
Each of the air conditioned bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, telephone, piped music, television with local channels and satellite channels, mini-bar/fridge, safety deposit box and roof service.
The hotel has a bar and a restaurant offering buffet breakfast. Leisure facilities include two good sized swimming pools, gymnasium, sauna, small heated pool in spa area, Jacuzzi, terrace solarium, tennis court and entertainment programme. At the hotel reception staff offer clients currency exchange, a luggage room and laundry service. Location

Sophisticated Puerto de Mogan is the most westerly holiday resort on the south coast of Gran Canaria. The enchanting fishing village and harbour is blessed with a fine sunny climate and has a lovely selection of restaurants and bars. It consists of a delightful old town (built on one side of the bay) and the marina village area, where a variety of yachts from all over the world are moored - from the simplest to the ocean-going - all adding to the overall quality ambience. This is a more up-market holiday resort with low-rise buildings. It aims to offer the discerning holidaymaker more quality than quantity, who prefer exclusivity in relaxing surroundings. A canal runs from the sea around the village adds extra charm to this particularly attractive resort - a welcome change from the high-rise developments further up the coast. Mogan is situated on the southwest coast of the island and has both its coastal harbour and inland town, which is famous for fruit production and exotic mountain scenery. The beach by the harbour is relatively small but well provided for with sun-loungers and beachside cafes/restaurants. A canal running from the sea around the village adds extra charm to this particularly attractive location, a welcome change from the high-rise developments further up the coast. In the harbour a range of yachts are moored from the simplest to the most elegant ocean-going, and this adds to the quality ambience. The water in the harbour is so clear that, after a relaxed meal in one of the many harbour-side restaurants, you can watch shoals of fish passing by or seeking out the cooler areas to escape from the mid day sun. The climate in this particular part of the island is hot, sunny and extremely reliable making Mogan a perfect choice for the more discerning sun-lover, and also those with young children, as the area is compact and very safe. There are a large variety of scuba diving courses and trips in a glass-bottomed boat can also be taken here. Deep-sea game fishing trips are available and the details are obtainable from the harbour front. For the more adventurous there is flying, parachuting and skydiving available at nearby Aeroclub, Maspalomas. Mogan town 8 kilometres inland has spectacular mountain views and a few good restaurants and should not be excluded. For serious sun-worshippers there are beaches beyond Mogan in Veneguera and Tasarte, or in the opposite direction the new Amadores beach just before Puerto Rico with an ample selection of bars and restaurants and finally Maspalomas with its famous dunes and Playa del Ingles. Before Puerto Rico is a sensational swimming pool and small beach at Taurito (charge to go in pool). Hotel distances: Beach Sand 400m. Airport Las Palmas 63km.
