Situated in Valle Gran Rey, "Valley of the Great King", on the west coast of La Gomera, the Residencial El Conde is conveniently situated within a five minutes’ walk from two beaches, local shops, gift shops, restaurants, and Canarian bars. The enchanting complex is distinguished by its personal atmosphere, which is highlighted by the Canarian architecture. The 22 apartments are located around an inner courtyard which features a fountain at its centre, adding a magical quality and radiating harmony.

The Residencial El Conde is an ideal choice for a relaxing Canarian coastal holiday. The spacious apartments enjoy views of either the sea or the Valle Gran Rey, and the roof top swimming pool affords a panoramic sea view. The roof gardens also offer a tranquil location from which to view La Gomera's beautiful sunsets.

There is a choice of one and two bedroom apartments, and each includes a well appointed open plan dining/living room with sofa bed and satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, a safe, phone and fax, terrace or balcony.

The closest beach - Charco del Conde - is located less than one walking minute away, and the other beaches (Playa de Vueltas, La Condesa, La Puntilla, Playa de la Calera and Playa del Ingles) are a comfortable stroll away. Other services available for guests at the Residencial El Conde include a reception (9am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm), laundry facilities, board games and a car park in front of the building. Each Saturday Gomera Dive Resort offers a SCUBA diving course to guests.

The Residencial El Conde also has a medical centre, physiotherapy centre, small supermarkets and an ice-cream parlour. Tranquil restaurants and bars are located close by.

Layout

The one bedroom apartments can accommodate up to 4 (2 adults and 2 children younger than 12 years) and comprise: 1 double bedroom, open plan dining/living room with sofa bed suitable for one adult or two children of less than 12 years. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, satellite TV. Outside is a terrace or balcony and roof terrace gardens with shared swimming pool.

Location

Valle Gran Rey, located in the south west of La Gomera, is one of the most impressive and beautiful ravines in the island. Here the Gomera islanders have created a unique landscape by transforming the hillsides into terraces to grow crops and tropical fruits. As you descend into the valley down the dramatic mountainside, clusters of little red-roof houses and groups of Canarian palm trees provide stunning scenery. Throughout Valle Gran Rey the atmosphere is very authentic Canarian, without the feeling you are in a package holiday resort. There are some comfortable holiday apartments with swimming pools and a modern hotel. We consider this a perfect base for walking, exploring the Parque Nacional and for swimming and sunbathing by the sea as the climate on this part of the island is generally sunny. Valle Gran Rey is distinguished especially by its beaches and by its impressive rocky cliffs. Here you will find great gastronomical variety from local cuisine and several international restaurants. The nightlife offers some bars and clubs which you can reach by foot within few minutes.
