Studios Casa Mia (PNT-1074)

The delightful studios Casa Mia are located in a pedestrianised area, on one of the prettiest plazas in Puerto de La Cruz. They are just 100m from the nearest beach and are only 300m from the large man made lake, 'Lago Martianez' where guests can swim and relax.
Puerto de La Cruz is situated on the north coast of Tenerife and has a mild climate, lush vegetation and beautiful scenery including views of the Oratava Valley and Mount Teide. It is one of the oldest and most attractive resorts on the island with fashionable sea-front cafes, endless shopping possibilities and large lido. The airport is 100km away.
Car hire here is not essential, as all of the amenities of a compact resort are close at hand, however it should be considered, as a short drive inland will give you the opportunity to explore the lush Oratava Valley or visit the Las Canadas National Park which surrounds Mount Teide, the highest point in Spain. Alternatively, you can visit the many pretty Canarian fishing villages dotted along the north coast of Tenerife. The typically Spanish town of Icod de Los Vinos is also easily accessible (about 25km away) and has a pretty centre with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. The famous dragon tree, a popular tourist attraction, is also found in the centre of Icod, as is a pretty Canarian garden, both of which can be viewed from the little tourist train which will take you around for a small charge.
There are six studios in total all on the first floor of the building. Two of the studios have a balcony large enough to sit on, whilst the others have very small, traditional Canarian balconies. All of the studios have a private bathroom, kitchenette, living/sleeping area. They are all individually furnished. Each kitchen either has a two or a four ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment and coffee maker. Tea towels are provided. Each living area has two single beds that may be pushed together to create a double, bedside table and lamp, sofa and coffee table and a small dining table with three chairs. Each studio has a TV (local channels only) and a safety deposit box that is free of charge. In each bathroom there is a WC, washbasin with mirror and shower (no bath). All studios have washing machines, irons and ironing boards, storage space and small wardrobes. There is a shared patio with tables and chairs.
Studios Casa Mia are an ideal choice for those seeking individual accommodation in the old quarter of Puerto de La Cruz, close to all facilities and an ideal base from which to explore the island. Clients are however advised that due to the convenient central location of these delightful apartments, there may be some late night noise from evening entertainment in nearby bars.

Location

Puerto de la Cruz is a colonial town full of charm and one of the oldest resorts in the Canaries, having received visitors for over 100 years. The mild climate, lush vegetation, and beautiful scenery, including views of the Orotava Valley and Mount Teide, are natural attractions. Man-made attractions include the famous Botanical Gardens, the Loro Parque zoological gardens, the fabulous Lido, Golf La Rosaleda golf club and the Casino. Pretty squares, churches, street cafes and fascinating shops can be found in the old part of town.
