Location

Fiskardo (otherwise known as Fiscardo) is a picturesque Greek fishing village located on the northern tip of Kefalonia on the Errisos peninsula. Many of its historic buildings remain, as Fiskardo is one of the few villages on Kefalonia that escaped damage during the great earthquake of 1953. Fiskardo's harbour is home to many local fishing boats and, if you visit early in the day, you can buy freshly caught fish here. Fiskardo's harbour is also a popular mooring for luxury sailing boats and yachts. Many of these are owned by the rich and famous who are attracted by the tranquillity of Fiskardo. The village is a fantastic place for people watching or simply taking a stroll past the variety of boats moored in the harbour.
